Pleasant Valley (PV) Park includes woodlands, open fields, hills and valleys, with an extension system of single-track  trails built by volunteer hikers and mountain bikers, with loops of various lengths.  The trails for the most part are wooded, and include several stream crossings with footbridges.  The park also includes some old farm roads.  Trees of special interest include paw-paw trees and abundant dogwoods.  Many tree identification signs have been placed in the park by the Murrysville 4-H Conservation Club.

Directions to Pleasant Valley Park

If heading East on Route 22 from Monroeville,

  • Turn right onto Trafford Road at the traffic light at McDonald’s.
  • In a short distance bear left onto Pleasant Valley Road.
  • Continue on Pleasant Valley Road for about 2 miles, then turn left into the park.  There is a small park sign and a small parking lot.  Note: please use caution when entering or leaving the parking lot because of traffic on Pleasant Valley Road.
